Smash the Wall!

Recently, I started a FB conversation with some filmmaker friends (some of whom I met here), on the subject of the theater phrase "Break a Leg". That phrase doesn't really translate to filmmaking, and we don't have one of our own. I'm of the opinion that we should fix that.

We bounced a few ideas around, and though we never reached a consensus, I'm personally a fan of "Smash the Wall", meaning that you need to go out and smash that fourth wall so that you can punch the audience in the gut! :)

Your thoughts? Is that a keeper? Any other ideas?
