Why do you think there is not much support for female action films? it the story, the characters,etc., What elements would make a successful female action film and hopefully redifine the genre for set the trend/example for others to follow. Hollywood wanted to do a BLACK WIDOW film and there is talk of brining CATWOMAN with Anne Hathaway.
There are some very successful superheroines that have just a huge following as superheros.
