single/Two actors films ??

Hii
Long ago i asked for limited locations films and got some good guidence here
This time , I am up to make a film, with my friend-technicians
I cant afford much of budget
Most of the limited location movies are having good number of actors too...and here I cant afford that many actors like in 12angry men or rope or rear window or clerks ...

So I am looking forward to develop something with JUST one actor or ..at the most TWO actors.

I feel any actor will accept to that challenging job. PLEASE SUGGEST ME SUCH MOVIES which has just one or two actors.

I have seen BURIED , Secret Honor , Give 'em Hell, Harry! and all sorts of those political movies
Have seen , what happenned was , closet land , Death and Maiden and CAST AWAY etc etc
have seen TAPE ...thought its of 3 actors..i loved it

So suggest me some RARE or OLD movies or non-english movies which I cudnt have seen...
thanks

Rosemary's Baby has quite a small principle cast.
There are plenty of Twilight Zone episodes with very small casts like only a couple of characters (whichever the first episode was and Nervous Man In a Four Dollar Motel are examples)
Eraserhead has like...5 characters
Begotten only has a few characters

Last Man On Earth.

The Omega Man

Here is a generice plot.
A man or woman wakes up to discover he or she is the sole survivor of a disease, or a nuclear war, or you can have him teleported into a parallel Earth where he or she is all alone. Your hero sets out on a quest for fellow survivors.

Other than the movies of one man plays ("Give 'em Hell Harry", "Mark
Twain Tonight", "Swimming to Cambodia") I can only think of two
feature films with only one actor - "Yaadein" in 1964 and "The Noah"
in 1975. "Silent Running" comes close as does "Moon". The recent "127
Hours" has only one actor for a large part of the movie. "Wrecked"
uses flashbacks so doesn't really count - or does it?

There are dozens of movies with under five cast members - mostly
adaptations of stage plays. And there are many short films and, of
course, "Twilight Zone" episodes.

I would be interesting if you could pull off a feature with only one
actor.

Yeah, I did a "last man on earth" (well until a woman shows up) film HEAVILY influenced by Twilight Zone (along with several films like Omega Man, and the Vincent Price "Last man on Earth").

Sounds interesting :) What's the plot?
Oh, Rear Window, it has a medium sized cast but as far as speaking roles go, there aren't many.
Rope has a small cast too and also all takes place in one location.

Might want to check out Old Joy. Two actors on a road trip. It's not a perfect film but certainly has some qualities to it that make it work.

I've been writing a comedic short script (One Shot Deal) where two guys are stuck in a car on a stakeout, kinda like a road trip except they don't leave the parking lot. We'll see how it goes.

As mentioned above, MOON managed to take the 1-actor conceit and deliver. Sam Rockwell is such a talent.
