watch Short Film: Wireless (48hr London Sci-fi entry 2012)

Hey Jooble,

Great job integrating the random elements, I think that's the big
stumbling point of many sfl48hr entries, but yours fits well.

It's shot very well (although I hate your opening shot), nicely lit,
especially the living room stuff. What did you shoot on? 5D?

Good casting as well, how much cast/location stuff did you have
secured in pre-production?

Good luck on making the shortlist, I think you're in with a chance,
- I was on the team that came second last year and won the
under 21's so I know how much effort you must have put in to
achieve this, hope it does well.

I hate that first shot too, think that was the first shot of the day so... warm up?
I didn't shoot it but I did the step outline for the story, VFX and a rough cut while the others were shooting stuff, then when they were done i finished off VFX, titles etc while they finished the edit.
It was shot on the 60d with the Technicolour profile. Before it started we had the 3 actors secured and a lot of locations were at work and the directors apartment so it wasn't to difficult. Our own specific brief was to avoid, at any cost, an apocalypse film (unless the dialogue was "after the apocalypse..." lol). I hope it does well too, would at least like to get to the short list, not every competition you get a Love story with a Sci-fi wrapper.
