What a stark contrast to your interview with Justin Samuels.

Martin took the time to network - not expecting to make
"contacts" immediately who would instantly produce his first
script. This guy saw his career as a long term commitment
and was willing to put in the time and make the sacrifices. Not
even one complaint about other people keeping him out.

Excellent interview, Jim. And a great lesson for all aspiring
screenwriters.

You've captured the precise reason why I wanted to interview Martin. And yes, definitely quite a contrast to Mr. Samuels, isn't it? Just goes to show that having a positive outlook and a good work ethic (not to mention a nice dose of writing talent) can really take you places in this business.
