sound Scoring Effects

Hi,
I hope this doesn't sound too stupid, but I have been writing out the sheet music to a soundtrack I wrote for a trailer but I am having trouble scoring this sound (in the dropbox link). I've tried googling and asking people but I don't even know what the effects is called so I can't properly search for it. If anyone knows how to score it, could you please show me?

its not really an effect its a live orchestra (or a sample of one)..

I come up with words like:
Allegro staccato

Its a suspenseful pushing crescendo for strings consisting of quickly repeated short scales ?
