watch sci fi indipendent short

Hello everybody,

I'm a member of the team that created in 2004 a science fiction ultra indipendent short movie that is making some noise in Europe.
The name of the work is E:d:e:n and you can find many info and photo on the official website www.edentheproject.com.... I'd really like to know what do you think about the project...

So, what do you think about that?

Hi Scott, :welcome: The project looks interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Since there are trailers on your site I moved the post to the screening room.

...well.

About the domain name, it's true, I admit that maybe it's not a really natural name for a site, but we thought that it represents quite good what is e:d:e:n... Edenprojectfilm is really good...

About the "noise"...tha fact is that I was talking about producers, production & distribution company and not so much about the internet... "people in the biz" and not many critics or magazines... Anyway, these are some web pages about e:d.e:n that i saw until now...

Can i ask you a question? Why it seems to me that this particolar point is so important for you?

About the site, I'm agree with you. It was our first site, so it's not perfect, and we're never completely satisfied about our works...

What about the trailers?

Yes, a lot of sfx...so a lot of hard work!
We just finished also a "making of", in wich we explain how we created such sequences as the no-gravity one...

After the partecipation at some festivals, we're beginning to try to sell the short movie (and maybe even the making of) on tv network....

It has arrived to the finalists of Dragon Con Festival 2004 in Atlanta last August... And Sundance says us "no"... We'll see what's gonna happen in the future. If some US festival will take our short, I will let you know...

What do you think about the sales? It's gonna be hard to sell this kind of product? I hope no... We just selled it to SKY TV Italy, and we wonder how much interest international network could have about E:d:e:n...

Some online channel wants it entirely too. What do you think, is it a good thing to do?

Might try the Sci-Fi Channel here in the states.. I don't know if they would be interested or not, but it's definately the kind of thing they program.

For an "ultra low budget" short it looks damn good. Loved the zero g blood.

Now let me put on my Moderator pants.

As far as questioning the quote of "making a lot of noise," let's all try to remember that we have this site here not only as a place for indie filmmakers to get together and share, but as a place for people to promote their films. Let's not get into semantics over simple self promotion.

Now, Moderator pants coming off.

Now, everyone runs away screaming.

Poke
