Satan's Sugar

So I'm on this new project working with York Fiction. You can guess it's about cocaine. York Fiction is writing the whole script from my outline. Hunteq Media is funding it all, along with a local author. I just wanted to create a thread for updates in Pre. So I'm not going to give it all away, but it's essentially about two DEA or FBI agents that are at first investigating counterfeiting but it turns into a drug and weapons case. Some of it happens in Korea, Nevada, and California. The goal is to have action, but not to overpower the film. I want it to be closer to hardcore detective work with only a few shots fired. We will be using Glock type prop guns, as well as a G36 prop rifle. The initial budget is $5,000 because York Fiction and Hunteq Media already have a lot of equipment and vehicles. Most of that will go to food, coffee, and pepsi. That budget doesn't include pay. That is only for production. We're saving money by using freshman film students and engineering students. The music is going to be composed by a friend who helped me through school all last year doing music for things. It's being shot over the summer because we still have snow in the mountains. Including post it should be done by summer of 2012. The greatest part is that all the sets we are using are real places and we have approval. So no building sets! We also have a medic and an assistant to the medic, which is great because when I was shooting smoking PSA's, someone got hit by a light that wasn't set-up properly. So if anyone has any input, or ideas or wants to know more, just reply!

Alcove - Well that's why I'm going to him. He has all the equipment for sound and music. I'll be next to him the whole time telling him what to do audio wise, but when he does the music, he can let his creativity run wild. I trust him. He's good at what he does. But for the Nat Sound and Dialogue I'll essentially be doing that on his equipment. I'm good at using other people's stuff.
