RODE BLIMP AND WOOD TICKS

Hi Guys, I am about to venture out in the woods this weekend for a shoot. Problem is when doing some scouting yesterday I forgot about the whole idea of Ticks and had 8 of those little bastards all over me yesterday.

Moving on, What should I do if My Rode Blimp gets ticks in it? I mean Yes I know I could spray my Blimp before hand with an anti tick spray. Kind I am using is Permethrin. But I wonder how it will affect my Mic. I am going to be Spraying the Blimp (without the mic in it of course) as directed for clothing ( A few hours before you head outside) But I still just wonder if I don't know, like, fumes from it can affect my mic? or something, I don't know Maybe i am just being overly paranoid.

Would like to know what others have done for such a thing. I shoot on Satuday.
