Hello everyone, just joined the site, I thought I would share a video for my first post

This is a short film, Rinse, which I wrote, produced and directed a few years back while in school.

I like how you shot and edited the movie, but the content left me confused. Besides the fact that it's much too expository, it just doesn't really make sense. We know he can see and hear her. We know he can feel her touch. So, how exactly does this psychological condition work?

Hey thanks for the feed back, surprisingly enough I have never had to define his psychosis before.
So Sean has a psychotic break after witnessing the attempted suicide of his wife. (Environmental triggers, such as losing a loved one, are also known to contribute to a psychotic break) The psychosis he suffers from causes him to be very delusional. (a false belief based on incorrect inference about external reality that is firmly sustained despite what almost everyone else believes and despite what constitutes incontrovertible and obvious proof or evidence to the contrary) So his delusions replace his wife amber with irritation and everything about her looks and seems dirty which stems from his already existing ocd, this causes him to see things that aren't there like a leaking pen, pictures of her are seen as blotches of ink and so on. The doctor tries to tell Amber to take things slow but she doesn't she pushes him into an intense delusion where he tries to cleanse himself with bleach.

The expository nature of the film is due to the fact that I wanted the audience to make specific discoveries at specific times and therefore new information is a constant through out.

Do you have any suggestions as to make it less expository and perhaps clearer for the audience?
