Rewind PAL tape in NTSC Camera

Here's a topic that very few probably have to deal with:

Most people recommend against mixing tape brands.

I only use Panasonic Pro tapes for my PAL camera. It would be convenient to rewind these in my other camera, which is NTSC and in which I used just about all brands.

Obviously the NTSC cannot read the PAL tapes, but would there be any harm in rewinding them in this camera? Could the tapes get any kind of residue from this camera which has been through it all?

I am referring to miniDV tapes.

I know different manufacturers use different metal particle designs. Some are oil based. I read about all this long ago. I don't remember details. But some leave residues which may require a cleaning casette.

My NTSC camera is my 'bitch' camera. I would not want to put a tape from my other camera inside (which are my master tapes) if it could aquire residues from the heads of the NTSC camera.

Hope that makes some sense...
