Reputable (online) Rental Companies

Quick question... are there any rental places online that are shady and need to be avoided? Do any have a particularly solid reputation. Not just a glass place, but if I wanted to get maybe a slider, grids, and a camera.

Is ATS, Aperturent, Lensrentals.com, or Trew any good?

I've heard good things about borrowlenses and Lens Pro To Go, though I've never used online rentals myself (and would probably be unlikely to)

Hi Mannie - I use Borrowlenses and LensRentals all the time for my camera review business - both are excellent. Great selection, good prices, reliable.

Generally, LensRentals has a little better selection and BorrowLenses is a little less expensive.

Not sure if they ship rental gear or not, but they're (presently) local to me and I've been very happy with the quality of gear and service (and pricing) from CineQuipt. Would be worth talking to them to see if they'd ship stuff to you or not.

Not sure where you're located, but you're likely to find that reputable brick and mortar rental houses will ship to you as well, even if they don't necessarily advertise it (or aren't specifically 'shipping-only' companies).

I've had gear shipped from Sydney, and I've been unable to book certain gear from some local rental houses because it was interstate on a job.
It's relatively common, and something I'd look into as well, depending on what you need to rent.
