I think the pacing was too slow. And the music, In my personal opinion, didn't fit in some areas. It was fitting for the last scene on the sidewalk, but I don't think it fit the rest of the short. It felt like the film was trying to be funny, but the music was trying to be sad. Odd mix. In any case, if you increased the pace quite a bit, not bad!

The idea behind the music was it was suppose to be a humorous parody of serious films, shown off in elements like the slo-motion etc. It is a comedy film that takes it self too seriously! Thats where the comedy is suppose to be drawn from... Don't know if that explains it a bit more?
 
That makes sense. Perhaps add more cliches? I did a trailer with the same idea.

It gives nothing away about the story and has the exact polar opposite of a feel than the actual short. As in WAY TOO serious. So I know exactly what you're talking about. Maybe it was just me, and I didn't get that. Good luck on future shorts!
