Try Myspace. All the rappers I know are very independent, but they're all struggling to get their work out there, so they'd probably be very receptive to you.

A really good way to find music on MySpace is to look up an artist with the kind of sound you already know you want in your film and to look at their friends.

MySpace has been invaluable in my search for bands I've never heard of.
