R.I.P. Blockbuster

I'm pretty bummed Blockbuster went out of business. Definitely sad. I'll stick to just buying the movies on Blu-Ray!

What is this Family Video? I've never heard of it. You mean video rental stores still exist?!

Is this an urban/rural dichotomy? Cuz I live in the city (a small city, at that), and there is not a single video rental store anywhere that I know of (except for that one quirky place that only rents hard-to-find VHS, and they have no late fees). Does Family Video pretty much just exist in rural areas? Cuz where I am, everybody either has Netflix or uses Redbox (often both).

Yar. Looks like they aren't in Virginia, CF.

I think I count 22 states in the drop down list, but don't see VA.

Looks there are 2 to 3 locations in my area. But I've never been in one.

Doing a Google search, I'm kind of impressed that there are a handful of brick and mortar places holding on around here.

Yeah, I haven't rented from such a place in quite a while now. I've been renting from Amazon, or seeing it on Netflix.
