SHORTFILMTEXAS (SFT): What is your short film “Silence And Slow Time” (SAST) about?
BRET CURRY (BC): To me, it’s about the feeling you get when you leave potential opportunities behind. It’s a story about two people who fail to communicate with each other until it is too late. It’s sort of a twist on the classic unrequited love tale done in a subtle and somewhat ambiguous way. It’s difficult to give an exact description of the plot because it is more about the atmosphere. I hope that those who watch it add their own perspective and draw their own conclusions.
