Question about capturing hdmi out?

You wouldn't use an Intensity, because they need to be tethered to a computer.

You'd be looking for any of the number of field recorders out there. HDMI out allows you to capture 1080p 4:2:2 in whatever codec you like (perhaps ProRes or DNxHD) rather than the internal 4:2:0 H.264

Now I have looking for that atomos ninja 2 do you people have any experience of that and I have only heard about using it with 5d mark 3, but where I can get info what comes out from example canon eos 70D

I have used one on a nikon d800 to be honest I dont know much about them technically speaking, but the footage was pretty solid, even against our second camera (sony F55) it graded quite well in comparison as well.

its also quite handy as they have a slightly larger screen than the D800 and when you have it on a noga arm its just that little bit easier to use!

Okey becaus I can use wifi on my canon eos 70D I don't need extra monitor, but if I can get better color range with that it is worth of buying. Only problems is that I don't know what quality comes out of the canon eos 70D hdmi out.
