Question about audio exporting in Premiere Pro.

When editing in Premiere Pro, I find that the audio I recored is at good levels and a good volume. The dialogue levels are at -12 decibels on average in the recordings.

However, after I edit a scene together for example, and then export it to test it, the volume is significantly lower than it is, in the original files. I am wondering, does Premiere Pro have export settings where the volume can be lowered that I am not seeing? I do not see it in the export audio settings so is their something that I am missing?

Thanks.

I don't think so. I've used it long enough to tell.

Are you sure you have your computer's volume set to a mid-level, and your video player set to 100% on the volume slider? If you're checking it on youtube, are you sure you have that player set to a mid-level?

12 decibels is a pretty good area. I always aim to have my dialogue set there as well. So you shouldn't be running into any trouble as far as I know.
