editing Properly utilizing 720p 60fps DSLR footage as 24fps in Final Cut

OK gang, my DP used to edit and we are working on the final cut of our short in, yes, Final Cut (latest version). However, when I look at the slow motion stuff (footage we shot at 720p 60fps) on the rendered movies we make to view at home, well, it isn't smooth. I see stuff on YouTube way smoother.

So what needs to be done to the raw footage before editing? Anything?

Just need some help here.

open the file in Cinema Tools (part of the studio install). Then click conform and select the 24p option and save.
