Of course, 3D printing has been around for a long time (just not as a consumer product), but I never thought of using it for prop making! Is that a common practice? If not, it certainly sounds feasible to me. Only today, I was trying to come up with a solution as how to produce an intricately carved wooden box. 3D printing seems like the perfect option!
