Polarizers for glare removal

I'm shooting a new short film in a few weeks, mostly all shot on green screen and need some help with a question. I did a test shoot with the costumes yesterday and the bad thing is that the costumes are mostly made of plastic bags and garbage bags (dont ask lol)

The glare from the lighting on the bags just looks bad. So I was wondering if a polarizer is the best option? Or if there is a better (and maybe cheaper way) of reducing glare on plastic material? \

Thanks for the help!
