The movie was made in a 24 hr. time period to make a festival deadline. It was rejected. But it did premiere at the 7th Channel Islands FF last Sep.
The movie is about how a teenage relationship goes sour when alcohol gets in the way.
It was inspired from a poem called "Poisoned Cure" that Shane Ryan wrote one night after many of his bad alcohol experiences.
I wish there had been more time to make this movie and for Shane and Theresa to write a much longer script about some of the experiences he actually went through, but it came down to writing something short and simple. In reality, it was much worse, more digusting, and resulted in violent situations. Not a pretty sight but definately a "I will never drink again" message to be sent.
But this film still seems to be getting the message across not to over-do the alcohol, so check it out if you get a chance.
