Planning An Invisible Foe Fight Scene

From Last years shoot, it appears the best way to pull off the silver demon hunters turning invisible for a fight scene is to start them out in their silver costumes. But, when they turn invisible, have them switch to red zentai costumes and drop a greenscreen behind them, maybe out in the sun.

If I have them wear the red suits with woods behind them, there are too many imperfections to cover and I will have to add lighting effects to cover them. So, they will end up looking like Ares here:

Using a greenscreen made for the sun from B%H Photo increases the changes of the scene looking like this.

Just by dropping an on location background behind it in post.

Suggestions?

According to the B&H Photo salesman, the greenscreen I showed in the link above can be used for both indoor and outdoor greenscreen shooting. He said just make sure the material is sprread apart properly with a good stand and it should workout. In that case, I can reuse the greenscreen for both the indoor and outdoor shooting of the spaceship model since we want to show the sship landing on location in the woods and flying in outer space.

If they are supposed to be invisible... do they even need to be on camera to start with?

Also, the greenscreen you linked is $700... and that doesn't even include the frame! You can get a 10' x 20' chroma cloth (with lightweight backdrop frame) for about $200 from many online camera stores. I'm sure the one you linked is the best quality out there, but it's probably way too expensive for your needs.

I will reuse the frame I bought last year that should be able to support a 12' X 12' GS cloth. I have supporting pins for it too. The cheaper GS cloths are only recommended for indoor shooting.

I'm thinking of getting GS suits as well for the silver demon hunter actors to be 100% invisible for some shots where they will blend in with the GS. When they are chroma keyed out with the GS for the new background, the results should be interesting. We can have the actors in red suits for the shots where the cyborgs see them with their thermal scan vision where they will appear like the white glow image I showed on the FaceBook photo.
