Could I get in trouble if I used a ping-pong table and paddles and ball in a movie? If so, who would own the rights to ping-pong?

Table tennis is a sport that's been around since the nineteenth century… unless you were planning to show logos on the equipment, you'll be absolutely fine.

The only problem you have is showing logos, or brands. Anything else is absolutely fine.
