photography classes

knowledge of being a DOF? as in depth of field?
I dont know if classes will teach you how to phytsically transform into one... but they will teach you about it.

Or you can just google Depth of Field and get a crash course.

I think you mean DP, or director of photography?

None, in my opinion. I took two years worth of photography when I was in high school; Everything can be learned with youtube and other sites. Although they did teach me how to develop film and make prints...something I realized I hate.

Oooooh DoP... haha

Okay. Yea, there are some classes on photography that does framing, and could help you out..
But honeslty, just look at any award-wining movie, freeze frame on any shot, and look how the actors are framed, how the lights were set up..

Best book i've got on the subject was "the eye of filmmaker". Look it up on amazon.

In my opinion - don't worry about taking classes, look at pictures of famous photographers, watch films, and try to reproduce some shots.

good luck
