PD150 problem, image not sharp, maybe setup issue

I purchased a used PD150 a few months ago. It was in immaculate condition with low hours. Apparently it had only been used to conduct interviews inside.

The problem is it seems to be producing slightly soft images (not really out of focus, just not very sharp). I recently did a 2 camera shoot with the PD150 and my old VX1000. When I looked at the footage although the PD150 worked a lot better in low light the VX1000 image was noticeably sharper.

Any ideas? Does the camera need servicing or maybe it is not set up correctly?

Does that camera have a diopter that needs adjustment?

Dunno if it has one. Just an idea, if it does.

It's been a few years since I last used a PD150, if I remember correctly, you can change
the amount of detail you can record. Look under the setup menu.
