Pause / Resume

Is there Pause / Resume function in Canon t3i? Or any other way to do that?

I'm not understanding correctly. As in for playback or actual recording?

For recording you just hit the record button on and off, yes it will make two clips but you can easily stitch hem together in any editing program. I don't believe there is any way to pause in the middle of a clip

In playback press the 'set' button while it is playing to pause/resume

I meant in actual recording. Instead of making multiple shots cant I make one by pausing/resuming?
