Genre: Action, Sci-Fi
Based on a dream I had last night.
Story:
In a distant future, cities are so dense, they merge into one another. Animals and plants are long gone. One man is about to change this. He is a general and a leader of a top secret military group. He dreams to change his own society, by making a return to ages long gone, when cities were less dense and there was a lot more vegetation. The fact that, for this to be achieved, he has to wipe out a few billion people doesn't seem to bother him, not even a bit!!
Back to Stone Age. Ro'ok, a tribe member, receives a quest from the village’s elder. He must obtain teeth from a sabre-cat, incense from a tree far across many lands and a couple of " magical " seeds. He and others are sent to do this. Whoever succeeds will be named the new village's elder. The shaman reveals the hero that he has visions of a " distant" place full of high-level technology. Meanwhile, back to the future: A series of terrorist attacks send shock waves through the society.
The general presents the society's leaders with a plan to recruit from the past a new type of soldiers: primitive warriors from the Stone Age. They're faster, they're more resilient, they can put up far more effort than we're used to. Paradise Team already has a few members, including Stone_Cold89(female, same age as Ro'ok) and Corpse_Maker_77(an aprox. 70 years old soldier with a lot of experience). Yep, in that future, people don't have names, they have nicknames...
)
Ro'ok completes his first quest. He uses the teeth to make himself a kind of weapon and its pelt as clothing. He travels across many lands and obtains the second item(after fighting a vampire warrior). Ro'ok learns that the seeds are in the possession of a group of vampires that reside in a cave system. That's the place where Ro'ok and the Paradise Team cross paths.
The team helps him defeat the vampires and get the seeds. Although the team tries to persuade Ro'ok to come with them, the hero refuses this and heads back to his village instead. The Paradise team is forced to play along. There, they are greeted with violence. Another tribesman killed the village elder and now wants to kill Ro'ok. Once again, the Paradise Team helps him defeat his enemies. The team finally recruits a few survivors and heads back to the future. They hand the general the seeds. Soon after, the team's headquarter is targeted by a terrorist attack. This kills a few members, but Stone_Cold, Corpse_Maker and Ro'ok escape.
Corpse_Maker doesn't think this is an accident and feels there's something fishy! His researches reveal a conspiracy and the general's true plans: He is behind all those terrorist attacks. He didn't want to recruit any Stone Age warriors, he simply needed the seeds. These seeds come directly from the Garden of Eden. Some of them are from the two biblical trees(Knowledge and Life).
They have(as Ro'ok tells them. He heard their story from his grandfather, from the village elder and from the village's shaman) the ability to create an ever expanding forest that would engulf everything in its path. It can destroy cities. Turn the world into a jungle. And of course, grant eternal life and infinite knowledge, but this is just a side effect...
The Team members rebels against the general and are accused of treason. They must fight off the cops, other soldiers and genetically enhanced warriors. Their greatest enemy is ANNIHILATOR-X5, a war robot with great capabilities. Stone_Cold and Ro'ok grow close. The team must make a run for it using a train, but Annihilator X5 is on their tracks. After a bomb derails the train, the team has to face the Annihilator. Their efforts combined manage to destroy the robot.
But meanwhile, the general organized a coup d'etat. He seized power and arrested all former leaders. He learns that, in order to make the seeds work, he needs a spell. It can be found on a group of ancient scrolls from the New Vatican. The Paradise Team travels there. The Pope is a 3D hologram and his bodyguards are all cyborgs. A tough battle for Paradise Team. They fail to stop the general. They must organize an assault upon the Government's Headquarters.
They get help from an insider who is sympathetic to their cause. They by-pass, with his help, the vast array of impenetrable defense systems and come face to face with the general. Too late! The forest already begins to grow. Tears everything apart. A battle ensues, in the midst of the crumbling Headquarters. But the general manages to teleport out of sight. The forest destroys building after building.
The general and his troops kidnap Stone_Cold. The first part of the final battle takes place at the city's outskirts. Ro'ok has to fight his way to rescue Stone_Cold and to destroy the general. After a tough battle, he manages to defeat the general and rescue Stone_Cold.
But the general transferred part of his consciousness into another Annihilator X7(more advanced than X5, officially does not exist). It controls this robot. To truly defeat the general and prevent him from making a comeback, his temporary " shell " must be destroyed...
Corpse_Maker stays behind, hoping to find a way to stop the ever advancing forest, while Stone_Cold and Ro'ok rule the Annihilator back to the Stone Age. After a tough battle, Ro'ok and Stone_Cold defeat the Annihilator, right in the middle of Ro'ok's village. Its metal body is placed in the village, decorated a bit, and then gets used as a totem. Corpse_Maker managed to reverse the spell and, although many people died, the futuristic society survives. Corpse_Maker becomes the new leader.
As Ro'ok and Stone_Cold suggest, the destroyed buildings are never rebuilt. The city needs some green space after all. The city's expansion is also controlled and new species of plants are brought in and used to create gardens and forests and parks. The city gets brighter. Nature regains its place again, among the overcrowded metal and glass city. But there is an equilibrium and the insane idea of sacrificing an entire civilization just to for nature's sake remains nothing more than the deluded ideas of a dead general and will never ever be put into practice!
