Overheating Problem DSLR Canon

Overheating Solution DSLR Canon

I talked to one of my DP friends at the last Indiana Filmmakers Network meeting and he told me that to solve the overheating problem with his 7d he uses the smaller San Disk cards instead of using the 64 Gig use the smaller ones. I think he uses the 16 Gig. Another good reason to use the smaller ones is that they have a less chance of the footage of going corrupt. Also, he likes to reformat the cards after he downloads his footage to the computer. The reformat helps keep the cards from footage going corrupt. I am sure this probably would help on the other Canon DSLRs that have the overheating issue like the T2i or T3i, etc...

I remember when he filmed the short film Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Shotgun Madness he did not have overheating issues in the 90 degree heat of summer.
