Once upon time in mexico look?

Hi, i've heard that Once upon a Time in Mexico was shot on HD Cam. And i was wondering if someone could help me? I'm wondering how much it would cost (excluding camera costs) to make feature shot on HD look as good as once time in mexico? :?

You want the cost of everything except the camera?

That's a tall request. And one almost impossable to fill.

There are many expenses that don't reflect on the look of a movie: catering, location rental, transportation, on screen talent. And the cost of a feature varies wildly.

An experienced DP with a good crew could make a feature shot on HD look as good as OUATIM for very little - say $10,000 - $20,000.

Less even.

Or more.

You want an HD feature to look good - you use light well.
