Well i was watching a documentary on Russ Meyer and about all the nudie films he made from the 60's to the 70's and i thought to myself "why doesn't anyone do this?". The ladies weren't having sex in the movie but just naked or in bikini's. If you want to make money then thats a sure way to do it. Guys would totally go see a movie that had gorgeous naked women in it. Why doesn't anyone make a movie like that? I think if you wanted to make a lot of money that would be a good idea, but what do i know?

For home-video viewing, dudes have found much more efficient ways to fap. And these kinds of movies have never been much of a box office draw, because apparently, though this is difficult to believe, most dudes don't like jerking it in public.

Exploitation is about providing something people can't get in the "straight" or "square" world. It pops up a little bit every now and then, "torture Porn", Human Centipede, etc... but there is really almost nothing taboo any more and ANYTHING is available online.
Now mind you I'll throw some gratuitous tits in there in a heartbeat and follow the rule of "All things being equal, always cast the hot chick", but the days of old school exploitation are over.
There is a niche market for the nostalgia aspect among some hipsters and some old guys like me.

This. Although, who knows. Could come back someday in some form. If they ever do put the kabosh, the clamps, the nails into the openness of the net so that it's only a place for shopping for shoes and MP3s etc at online shopping malls, then could be there'll be a need again for nononline venues for exploitation. But, ahhh, by then movie theaters or movie houses will probably be exinct or close to it, so... =P
