Great interview! I just read about the Go Pro 4 line up, recently. This answered some questions, like "Why does the Hero 4 Black" not have the LCD. As Nick pointed out, shooting 4K, 30 frames per second takes a lot of power and creates a lot of heat, hence the warm LCD is left off the flagship model.
Lots of new settings, for shooting at night, etc. I'm excited about this company and the new line up. More info at the Go Pro site
