New.

Hello,

My name is Mark Godfrey, I am 13 years of age and have been making films for a little while now. However I haven't really taken the time to devote myself to making them. I just like fooling around with the camera. I write tons of music. And when I say tons, I mean tons. I like to write music for video games, not big ones (most of which are made on Byond). I just have a crappy samsung, and some old cameras. I hope my stay here can better my experience with filmmaking. I just hope you accept me :P . Thanks.

:welcome: You are most welcome to Indietalk, Mark. I think you'll find much information here to help you get started and you are a most appreciated addition to this forum. Doesn't matter what camera you have, just get out and learn your craft!

Hey dude, whuts up. im 17 and im saving for a new studio setup, but hey man, dont get down about your cameras...i have archives of hi8 tapes filled with movies my friends and i shot, from when we were 11 till we were 14..no editing, had to shoot in order, you probably know.

That experience of shooting crappy hi8 flicks helped me in independent filmmaking, too. Guess why? It taught me to figure out workarounds and how to be thrifty, which definately carries on to any type of filmmaking.
