So I graduated from The Art Institute of Vancouver in 2007.

Did some music videos for the bands Killinger, Rick Plester, Gross Misconduct and Lokal Motif.

Found the Vancouver area to be saturated. So I'm looking at other locales in the interior of British Columbia.

Thanks everyone. I'm more of a visionary(for lack of a better term) than a technical guy. So there may be a stupid question here and there.

Right now for gear we're running:
IMac with final cut pro and all the other adobe goodies
Canon 7D

Past Experience with:
Canon XH A1
Panasonic HVX200

Right now I'm doing a bunch of reading on what shotgun mic I should get. I know scennheiser has a reputation and a half. But I'm thinking if I need one now, I'll rent one. Would be nice to own one for quick and dirty shoots. Also been looking at Rode as well... new to me. I just know I hate in camera audio... for reasons everyone knows about.
