Looking for support for my next short film entitled Gypsy King.
The story is set in the 80s in the countryside in Cornwall, UK. It is a 22-minute coming-of-age story about a toxic father-son relationship where we witnesses the extreme pressure on the shoulders of a young teen struggling to face his homophobic father while also focusing on the more gentle relationship that he and his best friend builds. It takes you on a journey of struggle, conflict, desire, love, and hate.
