Ok, so this is my latest music video, I am about 70% happy with it. A couple of my wide shots are out of focus, I had a hard time putting this video together after it was shot! I wasn't sure where to go with it and I actually started over more than twice lol. A friend of mine told me it looked too similar to a previous video I shot in august! I am trying to establish my style, I want people to know when they are watching a Courtney Lauren Film music video but I don't want my videos to all look the same!

Please take a look at this video and tell me what you like, what you didn't like, and what I could do better next time!!

Also, I am going to post the previous video from august as well as the new video!

It's pretty good! To be honest, I prefer music videos where there is some semblance of a story. Or, at the very least, something that's really new or risky in terms of technique or style. The editing and effects aren't bad, but they're pretty much what's expected for this kind of video, and there isn't anything really interesting happening on screen. It also feels a bit claustrophobic since the whole thing is shot almost exclusively indoors in small rooms.
 
I think what you have with your newest video is pretty solid.

Like said above, I personally enjoy music videos with some sort of story line, but this was fine.

The parts I really enjoyed were the clips of them with a smokey background. I felt like the studio clips were a little repetitive.

Lip syncing was on point.
 
It's well executed. It's clear what the intention is, it is well executed against this, don't really notice the shots with all the visual strobing and it is clear it is pretty much what you intended.

On the taste side, it sent me to sleep with the repetition. Just had to turn it off as it was the same thing over and over.
