Hello all. I Recently recieved my new XF100. Now, I'm still fairly new to editing. My NLE software does not support MXF files so I convert them to MPEG4 files in order to edit them. I'm able to access the files in my editing program and I go to batch conversion to convert them. I've heard that this compresses and reduces the quality though. Is there any editing software out there that supports MXF files and allows you to edit them in their native form without spending a kidney on? Or is converting the files the only affordable option at the moment. Thanks in advance for your help.
