Need solid cam mount

Hi,
When I mount my Gh2 on this..

and use my Follow Focus, it sometimes "bends" the cam up a bit..

in short the attachment between the cam and the mount seems a bit sloppy.. I don't see how any connection with the little tripod mount screw on the bottom of the cam will ever be strong enough. Any ideas?

You're 100% right and that's the reason I didn't go with the Jag when I was looking at my rig - the screws are godawful tiny!

Have you thought of going for a longer baseplate?
Here're the three that I have:

2nd one is closest to yours but they each have their own situation which they're worked out for.

Apart from that, I'm fairly sure that Jehu offers (or at least, offered) different plates to go on top??
Not sure how much that would set you back (or how well of a solution it'd be)

I have a ACRA style longer QR plate. I wanted to keep the amount of connections to a minimum, though now I will try putting that between the cam and the plate, maybe I can get a tighter connection...

I have another clunkier base plate that attaches to the rods in front AND back, perhaps Ill give that a go.
