Need help on some things.

Hello, I have a consumer/standard quality mini dv camera, and i need to know a few things before i start filming my short this summer.
First, i will need to know how to shoot a night scene.
Second, i need to know how to light my greenscreen (i have four 500watt halogen work lights, two on each stand, two stands) and the settings on my camera to optimize footage for chroma keying,
by the way i'm using sony vegas platinum 9.
third, how do i get that "profeesional" look, rather than a shaky grey home movie look?
fourth, do you think an improv type short is a good idea, i have a skeletal script, that is i know what all my scenes are about, but i have minimal dialogue.
fifth, how do i make someone transparent without masking? and without shooting the exact same footage twice, with the transparent guy in one of them?

i need all he help i can get, and if oyu would like too see some of my greenscreen work, here's my youtube page:

and dont watch the snow or the lathe ones... those are really old, back when i was using windows movie maker

and i'm 18, not 30
