Zensteve Sep 6, 2004 #4 I just noticed that at IMDB.com you can search, with "plot" selected from the list of dropdown filters. Pop in words like "hostage" or "standoff" or whatever and you'll get some matches.

B brotherhood Sep 9, 2004 #10 Thanks guys. I am looking for standoffs where it is the main action or a long second act, mostly to get a feel for how it would be handled. Looking to read some scripts. Thanks for the info on imdb. That's real handy.
