Need a mic for a documentary

I need a pair of mics for a documentary I'm shooting. I have no choice other than inputing into the camera. The cam will probably be the sony ex3. I have been advised by the sound guy im on set with, that wired lavs are a good choice. Does anyone have product I should look at?

Well, you've got XLR inputs that can provide phantom power on that camera, so you could be in a worse situation. :)

What's your budget?

Countryman makes some REALLY good mics. You should be able to get the countryman B3 or EMW for between $100 and $150 each.. The countryman B6 is probably one of the very best lav mics available, but they don't come cheap.
