directing Necessary Technical Skillset for a filmmaker ?

Hey guys, If you can list out the "technical skillsets" needed for a filmmaker
What will it be

right now i use final draft for writing likewise is there anything else a tool or something for a particular skillset

Camera...lighting...microphones...audio recording....editing...DIRECTING...this just scratches the surface.
You really need to do a LOT of reading about filmmaking. In the end, you may choose to concentrate on writing
and directing, and leave the technical stuff to your crew.

I'll play. If you're a one man band, then you're going to need to learn to do VFX yourself. Fusion is built into Resolve and is free, but the real power comes from Nuke. However, now you have to learn to move your shots from Resolve to Nuke and keep the colors managed. You're going to want to learn effects that you've written into the script. Gunfights need muzzle flashes. Screen replacements are always a good skill. You'll also want to learn projection mapping for painting out objects. Got an explosion? Then you need to start playing with simulations. Houdini is king, but Blender can do it too. You'll need to learn the 3D software first before you start creating anything good. Need a set extension or matte painting? Better learn Photoshop and Mocha. Crap, I forgot we needed a spaceship. Back to Blender. Time to color your movie? Jump back to Resolve and master that color page. Now it's time to export... Which settings do you use? Hey look! A preset for YouTube! Crap, now the colors don't look right again...

Now do that for all the other aspects: camera, lighting, sound, directing....

Hopefully that gives you an idea :)
