My half assed attempt at get funding (not from you)

Anyone who reads my posts pretty much knows I'm not exactly normal.

Here's my situation: I'm broke, unemployed, not even close to having an interview for a job, and unemployment decided they want $7000 back. They say they gave me an extension I wasn't suppose to receive. Yeah, nice. So, I don't have money to hire people to help me find backers.

Before Unemployment threw me into a deep depression, I was working on demos for a "Pop Musical" I'd like to shoot. This is wholesome family entertainment, with not a cuss, no nudity, no sex, just the bizarre Snow twist.

I put together a budget (with names in the lead roles) and I have a few demo songs that don't make me cringe. I'm starting to put together a few website pages that I can direct anyone with cash to. It's a trillion to one shot, but I have nothing else to do with my time.

Could you just check out this song demo page and tell me what you think. Does the song play all right? Is the page too bland? Overall impression.

This is the first page I've done. I still have to put together a home page with the sales pitch. But, once they go through that, this will be the first "Demo" page.

Thanks: George

trying to get a budget up can be quite a pain . Here is an idea to help you out. Find a night club, speak to the owner , orginize a Battle of the bands ,charge 10.00 cover and a 40.00 entry fee, take a percentage of the profits and use it as prize money or offer a music video deal. This is a way to help get up a budget ,and help get the word out about your film. The best part you wont have to pay back investors.
