This is a promo I made for a Music package created by the composer who has written the score for a few of my films. As I have not always paid for this / paid little, I offered to help him by creating a promo for his new package.

I used After Effects and multiple pieces from the package + a few stock elements from VCP to create the promo

Disclaimer: While I think this is a good package I am not personally trying to promote it here, only get your thoughts on the promo itself
 
The video's only half as long as the play length. The 2nd half is that weird YouTube click-other-channels thing, and shouldn't be there... it's supposed to be a commercial, essentially, right? Why are you spending so much time getting people away from the product?

The part that actually deals with your musician buddy's music package starts off okay, but peters out really fast. It has no legs. There's only so much time you can buy with fancy text. With $20 at Pond5 (or other similar cheap-o stock pic/footage site) you could actually present some kind of narrative.

First 10 secs could stay as is, next 15 secs tell a story, final 5 secs present the website link & picture of the actual product box. (Digital downloads can still have product boxes. It's cool)

...and dump that 20 seconds of other click-me YT stuff. Not even sure what that's called.

Just my opinion, as usual. :bag:

This is merely a video among other things which is embedded on the composers website. On the website it has the specifics of the package + examples of longer bits of the music + your beloved digital product box :)

Also I was told specifically to use the words that were used.

For some reason he has two websites... the latter is a better one
