MUBI

If anyone hasn't heard about MUBI (http://mubi.com/?from_mp=US) I think you should look into it. It's an up-and-coming indie film community.

You can stream lots of films, including interesting underground films that are hard to find anywhere else. Kind of like Netflix in its early stage, but with a more tasteful film selection.

You can review, rate, discuss films, make lists, and participate in the social network aspect of it if you'd like.

If any of you have features of your own you should try to get them on this site.

If you want to pay for the subscription part of it, feel free to sign up under my referral link: http://us.mubi.com/tell-a-friend/global/11a5p9b

Otherwise, just browse the site to discover new great films :)

I'm not in the US, so I might be wrong, but doesn't Netflix pretty much have everything, like mainstream wise? Which personally is mostly decent taste.

Interesting still the same :) though I've only got short films to show for myself

When I say "more tasteful film selection" that's obviously my own opinion. But I think Netflix has everything from mainstream blockbusters to poorly produced low budget pieces of garbage and everything in between.

I guess MUBI is just a little more carefully selected. I think it appeals to people who like festival films and people who are into the art of filmmaking.

Also, sorry if the link I provided is US only, you can log in for free in any country with your Facebook account.
