cinematography Motion capture SD card or camera problem?

Was shooting my new feature today and this came up:


"motion capture cancel due to the speed of the card, please check card" or something like that. Not too sure.

I was using a Transcend Class 10 SD card on a GH13. For more than a year now, the camera has been fine on the same settings using the same types of cards, including Patriot LX SD card class 10. All of a sudden, that crap popped up and kept popping up sporadically. How do I fix this? I got another shoot coming and I gotta handle this SOON. Thanks.

Are you finding that happens on just the same single card? If so, buy new card. Or re-format it.

Also, have you been fiddling around with bit-rate settings?

It has happened on the transcend brand only so far and I formatted them both. I'll test shoot with the Patriot today to see if that bs pops up.

How do I change the bit rate settings?
