memory card has me stumped

I rented a backup D7000 and was given two 16g high quality Hoodman Steel cards.I probably used in my camera and the rental also.
I captured all the scenes on the cards and they playback on the camera.I was able to download all cards but one.It won't show up on screen with card reader or transfer from USB from camera. What's the next step?

Have you tried another computer or OS ? or a different reader ? I have had an issue where a card would not be read from my reader , but once I placed it into my printer and the computer recognized it. Good Luck..

Sorry to hear about the problems!
My first suggestion would be to bring out the big guns and load up a Linux Live CD:

Download the ISO, burn it to a cd and then boot from that.
If you can't see the card and copy from it in Linux, then it's likely that any other tools will be just as useless.
BUT, if you can see it on the camera then you should be able to mount it on Linux.
