I was searching the web and accidently found this when trying to find out if McG was making a Terminator 5. There is pod casts for some directors and actors for free on itunes. See link. Clint Eastwood and McG were listed among others Guy Ritchie, and Robert Rodriguez.

Did you ever find out about Terminator 5?
 
I think he is but I am still looking/waiting to find out. Last I heard he was. I was just checking to see if there was progress or any word yet on progress. T5 was up in the air do to the selling of the franchise a while back. I believe it will be made because T4 did sell well overseas 341 Mil take worldwide I hear.

Here is an article on IGN of McG talking about Terminator 5 and 6 progress about a year ago. So as of a year ago he was working on it.
