maybe the wrong spot

i'm new and this may not be the right place but i was wondering about people's take on the movies northfork and swimming pool.
i thought northfork was amazing. cinematography was great, super story line, extremely confusing, just how i like them. but i've heard a million different takes on what the story meant. ideas?
as for swimming pool i wasn't impressed. comments? thanks
