editing Matching high frame rate and slo-mo

I've been wanting to do some "300" style footage but can't get the 120 frame footage to match it slowed down.

The 120 has the stuttered look but it smooths out when slowed to half speed. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

PAL, 25, 1080, I don't know the rest. I really just want to know how I can make the normal speed stuttering footage look like the smoother slowed down footage.
